TREE & SHRUB WARRANTY POLICY

This warranty is limited to a one time only replacement of the tree or shrub or a store credit issued for the original purchase price of the plant material.  Costs of labor and delivery are not refundable under this warranty.  If the cost of the new plant is not the same as the original, the customer will be charged or credited with a store credit, accordingly.  No cash refunds.

 

 

CUSTOMER INSTALLED TREES & SHRUBS are warranted for 90 days from purchase as follows:

  • 100% of the purchase price for the first 30 days, store credit issued.

  • 50% of the purchase price for the following 60 days, store credit issued.

  • Trees or shrubs purchased while dormant or in the process of going into dormancy (fall) will be covered under this warranty policy until they break dormancy the following spring; at which time the warranty period ends.

 

 

LMS INSTALLED TREES & SHRUBS (Quick Hits) have a warranty of 100% of the purchase price of the plant for one year, not including labor.  Plants purchased on sale have a warranty of the purchase price paid, NOT the original retail value of the plant.  Any plant sold at 50% off or more has no warranty.  We do not warranty any transplanted material.  No additional labor costs will be charged for planting an item of equal value on the same site.  If the replacement plant costs more, an additional planting fee will be charged accordingly.  The planting fee is not refundable.    

 

 

NO WARRANTY ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

  • Annuals, Perennials, Grasses, Roses, Pachysandra, Myrtle, Tropical Plants and Vines, Succulents, Houseplants, Bulbs, Seed/Sod (turf), Christmas Trees.

  • Plants that are used in a container garden or not otherwise immediately planted into the ground.

  • Plants that are purchased for resale.

  • Plant material transplanted by LMS.

  • Any plant sold at 50% off or more.

  • Any plant which fails due to an act of nature, insect/pest or animal damage, disease, physical injury by car, truck or equipment.

 

 

LMS reserves the right to deny any claim for credit for the following circumstances:

  • Improper treatment:  typical maintenance for trees or shrubs should be evident; proper watering, insect control, pruning, etc . . .

  • Any plant installed in an area that is not conducive to the plant’s cultural requirements.

  • Any plant improperly installed by the customer or customer agent.

 

 

PROOF OF PURCHASE (RECEIPT) MUST BE PRESENTED FOR A REPLACEMENT PLANT OR STORE CREDIT.
